MTV drops Katona's country music show?

A show featuring Kerry Katona attempting to break into the country music scene has apparently been scrapped.

Katona was reportedly in talks with MTV for the Nashville trip, in which she would have attempted to make a new record in America.

Health fears surrounding the former Atomic Kitten member have now led to the show being shelved, reports The Sun

An MTV source said: "Kerry is in no fit state to make a show. We have to wait and see how she fares in the immediate future. We want to see if she can start taking care of herself."

Katona's MTV programme Whole Again saw her undergoing plastic surgery after giving birth in May. Since filming, the singer admitted she is an alcoholic after an interview on This Morning where the addiction was raised by presenters Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton.
