Mel B signs up for Vegas burlesque show

Mel B is to star in a Las Vegas burlesque show to promote 'woman power'.

The former Spice Girl will appear in Peepshow, which is described as a "sexy girl power adventure".

"The show is like a burlesque, sexy woman power/girl power adventure," she told Access Hollywood.

"It's very sexy, very spicy and it's all about empowering women.

"It's all about a girl that gets taken on this journey, by me. She's the girl that I bring on board into my web of adventure. I'm the narrator/friend."

The show will see the singer return to her old style. "I'm going back to my Spice Girls roots and getting on stage and entertaining and singing and dancing, and I can't wait.

"It's all song, all dance... For me it was more about getting back into performing and this was the perfect show."

Brown will star alongside US actress Kelly Monaco in the show, which is expected to open in April at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Rehearsals are due to start in February.
