Brand takes interest in Air Sex

Russell Brand has allegedly become obsessed with the Japanese Air Sex craze, reports the Daily Star.

Air Sex, described as "air guitar for perverts", involves fully-clothed men simulating sex with an imaginary partner.

Brand was introduced to the craze by his yoga teacher Kazuko Burt.

"We told him about the World Air Sex Championship in Tokyo and he thought it was a delightful idea," said Burt.

A source added that Brand is keen to meet Air Sex's creator J-Taro Sugisaku to mine him for stand-up material. "He's fascinated by the fact that J-Taro invented it because he couldn't get a girlfriend.

"This is all great material for his stand-up shows. Russell’s been watching YouTube clips of Air Sex competitions, in which contestants perform the act to music, like air guitar for perverts."
