Jo Wood: 'Time has healed Ronnie split'

Jo Wood has said that she has recovered from her marriage split with Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood.

The guitarist split from Jo, his wife of 24 years, after tabloid stories emerged about his affair with Russian bargirl Ekaterina Ivanova.

Jo told Hello! that it took her some time to come to terms with the collapse of her marriage.

"When the revelations about Ronnie first came out it was difficult," she said. "I never imagined he would do that to me. I had to put on a brave face, while underneath it all I was feeling awful."

The former model added: "I feel really good. When I look happy it's no longer a facade. Time heals everything. I've thrown myself into working and keeping fit. And I'm out all the time. I'm so busy, which is great."
