Barker and DJ AM, real name Adam Goldstein, were the sole survivors of the September 19 tragedy in South Carolina, which killed the pilot and three other people.
They have both since been released from hospital having received treatment for second and third degree burns.
Newly-released recordings from the cockpit reveal co-pilot James Bland telling air traffic controllers: "Roll the equipment, we're going off the end."
Controllers can also be heard diverting other planes and summoning emergency services to the site, reports AP. A diverted pilot is heard saying of the crash: "We see it down there. It doesn't look good."
An investigation into the cause of the accident continues.
