Mathew Horne and ex-soap star Natalie Cassidy entertained the crowd at the final Little Noise Session gig yesterday.

Horne, who stood in for Jo Whiley, hosted the event at Islington's Union Chapel and performed jokes in between sets from Sergeant, Ladyhawke, Noah & The Whale, and The Fratellis.

The Gavin & Stacey star was jokingly knighted by Whiley as an ambassador for the Mencap charity for his work at the concerts.

"I am absolutely honoured to become an ambassador for Mencap," he said.

"This is a cause very dear to my heart and I'm really looking forward to helping raise much needed funds, awareness and maybe a few laughs too."

Former EastEnders star Cassidy, who danced throughout The Fratellis set, was mocked by Horne repeatedly during the evening.

Cassidy continued to party at the aftershow event, performing a dance routine to Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' which involved her grabbing fellow guests and persuading them to join.
