The popstar's lawyer argued earlier this week that Jackson was unwell and should not travel. However, the High Court in London heard today that he is now preparing to fly in to the capital from the US. He is expected to take the witness stand on Monday.
Jackson is being sued for £4.7 million after allegedly breaching an entertainment and recording contract.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Khalifa claims that cash from planned projects was to be used to repay an advance he gave to the singer.
However, Jackson's defence claims that the payments he received were "gifts" and that the project was never finalised.
