Britton 'no happier' after weight loss

Fern Britton has admitted that she does not feel happier following her weight loss.

The This Morning presenter sparked controversy earlier this year when she revealed that she had a gastric band fitted to help her shed the pounds.

Despite losing 70Ibs, Britton said that she does not feel any better about herself.

"Am I happier this size than I was before? No," she revealed in a radio interview.

"Am I feeling better about myself this size than I was before? No."

However, Britton insisted that her weight loss has had its benefits, saying: "Shopping really was the biggest thing apart from the fact that I have done my health a lot of good.

"I can go and buy clothes now - and that is a lot of fun!"
