Witherspoon: 'I'm a terrible driver'

Actress Reese Witherspoon has admitted that she is "a terrible driver".

Witherspoon joked on Entertainment Tonight that she has resorted to sending gifts to policemen because she is always getting caught speeding.

"I get into car wrecks and get speeding tickets all the time," she said. "I have to roll down the window and smile and wave and hope it works in my favour.

"I've sent a lot of baskets to a lot of police officers."

Witherspoon is currently promoting festive comedy Four Christmases.
