Madonna, Ritchie to divorce on Friday

Madonna and Guy Ritchie will officially divorce on Friday, according to the High Court list.

The case will be heard by a judge in the High Court's Family Division under the names Ciccone M L v Ritchie G S.

Ritchie has refused to take any of Madonna's estimated £300 million fortune as part of their divorce settlement, although he will have joint custody of children Rocco and David.

The youngsters will reportedly divide their time between London and New York, while Lourdes, Madonna's daughter from a previous relationship, will continue to live with the singer.

A spokeswoman for Madonna originally confirmed the couple's separation in October after months of speculation.
