Cyrus: 'Don't name your kids after me'

Miley Cyrus has pleaded with parents not to name their children after her.

The Hannah Montana star said she would like her name to remain unusual and does not want a new generation of youngsters named after her.

"In a lot of ways it is an honour for your name to be put into all those kinds of things but then again its kind of sad. I like being one of the only ones," she told The Sun.

"But I have just moved into a new neighbourhood and the girl just three doors down from me is called Miley too. It's spelt differently though. I was so disappointed."

The singer and actress was born Destiny Hope Cyrus but officially changed her name to Miley in May.
