Madonna, Ritchie granted quickie divorce

Madonna and Guy Ritchie have been granted a divorce at London's High Court.

Ritchie reportedly blurted out "Thank God" when he was told that the decree nisi was imminent.

The director previously insisted that his only concern was for his children in the agreement, in which he apparently refused to take any of Madonna's estimated £300 million fortune.

According to The Mirror, he said: "It was never about money - never about her bloody art collection. I just wanted to settle it and move on.

"I didn't raise any objections at any stage until she insisted the children lived permanently in New York."

The couple announced their separation a month ago following widespread rumours that their relationship had become a 'sham'.
