Katie Holmes to model for Miu Miu

Katie Holmes is to be photographed for a new advertising campaign from Miu Miu.

The actress will replace Vanessa Paradis as the face of the Prada-owned brand, which aims to sell more affordable clothing than the fashion house.

"Katie is soon going to start shooting the photographs for the spring 2009 campaign," said a company insider.

"She will be posing alongside real models, who will be positioned as 'accessories' in the campaign. It's quite edgy and very different for Katie."

Holmes is following in the footsteps of former Miu Miu models Drew Barrymore, Lindsay Lohan and Kirsten Dunst.
