Lohan defends blogging habit

Lindsay Lohan has defended her MySpace blog, claiming it helps her "connect" with the world.

The actress has previously used the site to voice her political opinions as well as address personal matters.

She described the blog as a way of showing she is not an "empty" person, saying: "There's a person in here. And I have feelings too, whether it's about politics, the person I'm seeing, the person I'm not seeing.

"That's my way of connecting. I don't want people to think that I'm just an empty f**king whatever."

Lohan's girlfriend Samantha Ronson recently used her own blog to blast anti-fur campaigners who attacked the Mean Girls star with flour bombs last weekend.
