The Court of Appeal in London ruled that Amy Winehouse's husband had no "justified complaint" about the sentence, according to the BBC.
Fielder-Civil, who married the singer in May 2007, was given 27 months in July for assaulting James King outside a pub in Hoxton, East London.
He also admitted to perverting the course of justice by trying to bribe King to withdraw his complaint.
Fielder-Civil had lodged the appeal when he was expected to remain in prison until December. However, he was freed three weeks ago and admitted himself into a rehabilitation centre as part of the condition of his early release.
Speaking about the lost appeal, he sad: "I am disappointed but not really surprised."
