Winehouse checks into private clinic

Amy Winehouse has admitted herself into a private clinic in London.

Winehouse was hospitalised over the weekend after reportedly suffering a seizure brought on by a cocktail of drink and drugs.

"She's still at the clinic with her father, Mitch, and her manager visiting her and keeping her company," an insider told Metro.

"There's no sign yet of her leaving after what happened at the weekend, but to be honest the clinic is her one chance to get away from it all.

"It now looks like she and Blake are definitely heading for a split but with Amy, she's said that all before."

Winehouse's husband Blake Fielder-Civil lost an appeal earlier this week against a sentence for assault.
