Carey sparks more pregnancy rumours

Mariah Carey has sparked speculation that she may be pregnant after refusing a glass of champagne during an interview.

The singer was offered an alcoholic drink while appearing on Ellen DeGeneres's US talkshow but turned it down.

DeGeneres commented: "No, let's toast to you not being pregnant", to which Carey laughed: "I can't believe her."

The host added: "Why would we toast to that? How about to the future? For both of our futures, who knows what they hold."

She then told Carey: "You're pregnant."

The popstar denied the suggestions, saying: "I didn't say that. No, no, no. My mother would be at home like, on the computer like, 'What are you talking about?' We will let you know when we're going to have a family."

Carey recently vowed to keep it secret if she decides to try for a baby with husband Nick Cannon.
