Lindsay Lohan defends her father

Lindsay Lohan has insisted that her father Michael is a good man.

The pair have suffered a strained relationship recently, with Michael calling his daughter's girlfriend Samantha Ronson "disgusting".

However, Lindsay has defended him after criticism on a TV show. "I was flipping through the channels and someone called him a loser," Lindsay said. "That's my f**king father! He's not a bad guy."

Michael recently retracted the slur he made against Ronson in an interview with New York magazine.
