Moore: 'I'm a humanist, not a feminist'

Rex Features

Demi Moore has said that she does not consider herself a feminist.

The actress, who portrays a frustrated businesswoman in '60s-set crime drama Flawless, said that women's roles have changed for the better in the last 40 years.

"I am a great supporter of women, but I have never really thought of myself as a feminist, probably more of a humanist because I feel like that's really where we need to be," she is quoted as saying.

"I think clearly times have changed and women have made their mark in many different arenas."

Flawless, which also stars Sir Michael Caine, opened in UK cinemas yesterday.
