Jackman took advantage of gay rumours

Hugh Jackman has admitted that he took advantage of people thinking he was gay to bed women.

The actor has been the subject of speculation about his sexuality after starring as gay entertainer Peter Allen in the Broadway show The Boy From Oz.

MTV asked the Australian star to name the three biggest false rumours about himself, to which he replied: "Gay, gay and gay."

Jackman also confessed that he and his friend used to go to gay clubs in Australia to pick up women.

"I probably shouldn't be saying this, but I remember when I was about 19, me and my mate used to go to these dance parties which were 80% gay guys, 18% girls who were sick of heterosexual guys hitting on them, and then vultures like me and my mate," he revealed.

"We would go there until two in the morning, when the girls were really drunk and wishing they weren't with 80% gay guys. [I was] the worst! The leech! The vulture!"
