Will Young: 'I want to be a dad'

Will Young has revealed his desire to become a father.

The Let It Go singer, who came out after winning Pop Idol in 2002, has said that he would not pursue a surrogate mother and would instead look to adopt.

"If I had the right partner then, definitely, a child would be a consideration. But I would adopt. If it was my own, then it couldn't be the other person's, and that would feel unequal," he told the Daily Mail.

Young, who took an acting role in Mrs. Henderson Presents, added that he still has a number of ambitions he wants to fulfill before settling down.

He said: "I guess the pinnacle of my acting career would be to be in a Mike Leigh movie and, as a singer, winning a Grammy would be pretty spectacular."
