The selection of work at The Lightbox comprises observational drawings first published in 1994 book Drawn Blank, from which the exhibition takes its name.
"When I was asked if we wanted to do an exhibition of Dylan’s work I wasn't interested in the celebrity of the artist, I wanted to see the calibre and quality of the art first. It says everything about Dylan and brings him to life," said Paul Green, president of the Halcyon in Mayfair, which previously housed the exhibition.
Green added that the pieces tie in with the outsider image cultivated by Dylan during his career. "The work generally is him looking in from a balcony, out onto a street or into a bar, because the dynamic changes when he walks in and people no longer act like themselves," he said.
The 'Drawn Blank' exhibition, which began in Germany last year, will be at The Lightbox until January 11.
