Rep: 'Bloom not engaged to Kerr'

Model Miranda Kerr has not got engaged to Orlando Bloom, her representative has claimed.

It was reported last month that Bloom had asked Kerr to marry him and "settle down". The couple were rumoured to be "blissfully happy" and planning a wedding for 2009.

However, a spokesperson for Kerr claimed that the report was false.

"The story... is completely false and misleading," said the rep. "Miranda herself has clearly stated she is not engaged. There is nothing else to be said."

Bloom and Kerr have been dating for over a year.
