The self-financed bi-monthly Jamie Magazine cost the TV chef £250,000 for an initial print run of 140,000 copies, reports The Guardian.
Editor Andy Harris said readers will feel like they have been "invited round to Jamie's house", while Oliver promised that it will not be "yet another cooking mag".
The first edition includes more than 100 recipes, a Q&A with Oliver and Brad Pitt, and a feature on poker evenings at friend Dexter Fletcher's house.
Jamie Magazine will go on sale this Thursday, with its first three issues exclusive to WH Smith.
