Young: 'Coming out made me start smoking'

Will Young has revealed that the stress of coming out made him start smoking.

The 'Grace' singer admitted that he only took up the habit after opening up about his sexuality.

"I got all the way through my teens and then I started smoking when I was 20 because of stress," he told The Guardian.

"It was all about coming out and the night it happened the garage at university was open at two in the morning so I bought a pack and smoked the lot."

Young recently announced that he has given up dieting after coming to love his more "manly" appearance.
