Ritchie filming annoys local residents

Guy Ritchie has come under attack by local residents as he shoots his new Sherlock Holmes movie.

The director has infuriated a neighbourhood in Finsbury, London, after ordering people out of their parking bays.

Local people have complained about his 'diva'-like behaviour and asked for £50 a day for the inconvenience.

"When they filmed V For Vendetta in Rawstorne Street they gave everyone £50 a day compensation," a resident told the Islington Gazette.

"I told the film office that for every day they film, they should give us £50.

"They said they would give some money to charity instead but I said 'No, charity starts at home, especially during the recession!"

Residents have agreed to move their cars for nine days, four less than originally requested.

"I've got no objection to the filming or to Guy Ritchie being in my street. I think he's all right, but not Madonna," another resident told the newspaper.

"All I'd say to him is don't come in with all guns blazing telling us what you're going to do, talk to us first."
