A charity event hosted by George Clooney and London businessman Roger Jenkins has raised £10 million to help people displaced by genocide in Darfur.

Tickets for the 100 guest party, held at Jenkins's Mayfair home, cost up to £10,000, according to the Daily Mail.

Matt Damon, Scarlett Johansson, Cindy Crawford, Sarah Ferguson, Bono and Guy Ritchie were among attendees at the private Christmas bash.

Sources said Diana Jenkins, the wife of the Barclays executive, had helped organise the event, which went on until 4am.

Proceeds will go to the Not On Our Watch charity, established by Clooney and his Ocean's trilogy co-stars Don Cheadle, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon.
