Love explains Coogan attraction

Courtney Love has explained why she fell for Steve Coogan.

Love told Elle that she was attracted to Coogan because he looks like Tony Wilson, the Factory Records label founder who he portrayed in the film 24 Hour Party People.

"I've seen 24 Hour Party People and my theory on why the whole thing happened is that I had a kind of daddy crush on Tony Wilson," Love told Elle. "And I transferred to Coogan because he plays Wilson."

The rock star and the British comic had a brief relationship in 2005 while they were both staying in the same Los Angeles hotel.
