Jade Goody staying 'naive' over cancer

Jade Goody has revealed that she has decided to avoid learning the full details of her cancer battle.

In an interview with This Morning, the reality TV star explained that staying ignorant about the diagnosis was proving to be beneficial for her relationship with her two sons.

"I just want to carry on being to the boys and to myself normal and I'm quite naive with the whole cancer thingy," Goody admitted. "I haven't done any research or anything and I don't want to know.

"I only know what I need to know, which is this is my medication and this is that, this is when I get better. I don't want to know the ins and outs and because it's too much for my brain to take it in. It really is."

Goody was diagnosed with the illness while she took part in the Indian version of Big Brother in August.

She added: "I have always been the person who is the looker afterer so to ask people to help me is very difficult."
