Jones 'took offence to X-Men jibe'

A fight involving Vinnie Jones began over a remark about the actor's role in X-Men: The Last Stand, reports say.

Witnesses claimed that the incident occurred when Jones attempted to join a game of pool in the South Dakota bar.

The former footballer is said to have taken offence when one of the drinkers identified him as Juggernaut, the part he played in the comic book film.

"He started pushing my other friends around. He said he's been in so many other movies or whatever," said bystander Juan Barrera, 24.

Jones reportedly suffered a broken nose caused by a man smashing a beer mug into his face during the fight. Both men were subsequently arrested, but only the actor posted bail.
