Bear Grylls injured in expedition

TV adventurer Bear Grylls has been injured during an expedition in Antarctica.

The 34-year-old had taken on the trip as part of an independent venture and was not being filmed for the Discovery Channel.

He was forced to cut the expedition short after injuring his shoulder in a fall on Friday night.

Grylls is now returning to Britain, where doctors will assess the severity of the injury, a spokesperson for the Discovery Channel revealed.
