McCoy: 'Katy Perry saved my life'

Gym Class Heroes lead singer Travis McCoy has claimed that his girlfriend Katy Perry saved his life.

The frontman said that Perry supported him when he was at his lowest point of suffering from depression and believes she saved him from committing suicide.

"There was this really, really dark point about two years ago when I just hit rock bottom... and I called Katy who was in L.A. at the time and said to her, 'Do you mind coming out and keeping me company? I'm not in a good state of mind right now,'" he told WENN.

"I honestly think had she not come, I really don't think I would be here right now.

"Without even talking, she just listened. I truly believe that she saved my life."

Perry recently told DS that she found protection in McCoy because he "had balls".
