Andre: "Harvey is like a son to me"

Peter Andre has revealed that he is saddened by footballer Dwight Yorke's treatment of his son Harvey.

Andre spoke out just a week after his wife, Katie Price, laid into her former partner for not having seen the six-year-old for more than a year.

The Aussie singer told New! magazine: "Last week, Katie talked about Harvey's biological dad Dwight Yorke not visiting in over a year and I think it's sad.

"But Harvey's like a son to me and he calls me Dad anyway."

Andre said he wanted to make this Christmas a special event for Harvey and his younger brother and sister, Junior and Princess Tiáamii.

"This year, I have been thinking about creating a Santa's grotto in the garden, with plenty of fake snow, because I know the kids will love it. I might even dress up as Santa," he said.

Andre and Price, who met on I'm A Celebrity... and married in 2005, have recently quashed reports that their marriage is on the rocks.
