Smith: 'Gran put me off screen sex'

Will Smith has revealed that he finds filming love scenes difficult because of his grandmother's advice on how to treat women.

The actor told People that his gran was firm about how men should treat women and that it still plays on his mind during intimate scenes.

"My worst nightmare is for an actress to feel like I'm taking this opportunity to get a little quickie feel - you know, some legal cheating going on," he said.

Smith added that his wife Jada had to step in when his shyness got in the way during filming with co-star Rosario Dawson in new movie Seven Pounds.

He recalled: "Jada said, 'Listen, I know you're uncomfortable, but you better not embarrass me. When you do that love scene, you better show 'em what you're working with'."

Smith plays an IRS agent who sets out to change the lives of seven strangers in Seven Pounds, which is scheduled for release in the US on December 19 and in the UK on January 16.
