Kylie rejects Beckham football offer

Kylie Minogue has rejected an invitation from David Beckham to watch him play football.

Beckham was playing a friendly for LA Galaxy on Saturday in Auckland, New Zealand and offered a ticket to the singer.

Minogue rejected the offer and went to see soul singer Alicia Keys perform at the Vector Arena instead.

"Kylie loves David and is a mate of Victoria but she so rarely gets to see top-name performers in action that she jumped at the chance to see Alicia," a source told The Sun.

Kylie releases her remix album Boombox on January 5.
