DMX arrested by FBI in Florida

DMX has been arrested by the FBI in Miami after he failed to make a court date in Arizona.

The rapper, real name Earl Simmons, had been due in court last Friday, but an arrest warrant was issued after he failed to show.

The hip-hop star had been scheduled to face charges of drug possession, identity theft and animal cruelty.

According to TMZ, the FBI were tipped off about his location and arrested him at the home of producer Scott Storch.

DMX will be held at a Miami jail before facing a judge later this week. He is then expected to be extradited back to Arizona.

The rapper was previously arrested for failing to attend an Arizona court in August when he failed to appear to answer drug charges.
