Cruise: 'Pitt was meant to be a father'

Tom Cruise has claimed that Brad Pitt was destined to be a father after watching how he interacted with his own daughter.

Cruise and Pitt starred together in 1994's Interview With The Vampire when Cruise's daughter Isabella was just one year old.

The Top Gun star told People: "Every time Bella was on the set you could just tell he wanted to be a father."

Pitt is now dad to six children with partner Angelina Jolie.
