Charges dropped against Jones 'attacker'

All charges against a man who reportedly hit actor Vinnie Jones in the face with a beer glass have been dropped.

Jesse Bickett, 24, was judged to have been involved in "a mutual combat situation" with the former footballer after prosecutors reviewed CCTV footage of the South Dakota bar brawl.

However, Jones, 43, could still face a year in prison for an alleged attack on Juan Barrera.

The actor is said to have become involved in the incident after taking offence to someone identifying him by his role as Juggernaut in X-Men 3: The Last Stand.

He needed 48 stitches to his face following the altercation.
