'Practice' star's husband files for divorce

The husband of Private Practice star Kate Walsh has filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.

The former Grey's Anatomy actress married movie executive Alex Young in September last year after a whirlwind romance.

A spokesperson for the couple told ET: "Papers have been filed to amicably end the marriage of executive Alex Young and actress Kate Walsh.

"The couple remain on friendly terms and sincerely hope the media will respect their privacy during this difficult time."

The divorce papers list the date of separation as November 22.
