Richie enlists Rihanna's help on album

Nicole Richie has enlisted the support of Rihanna in her bid to launch a solo career, reports say.

The 27-year-old daughter of Lionel Richie is hoping the successful 'Disturbia' singer can pass on some useful advice.

The Simple Life star has reportedly also asked Kelly Osbourne, daughter of Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne, for tips.

A source is quoted as telling the New York Daily News: "Rihanna and Kelly are coaching Nicole and giving her tips on how to perform."

Richie previously ventured into the music world in 2004 when she fronted rock band Darling.
