Tom Cruise dances on 'Tonight Show'

Tom Cruise impersonated Elvis Presley during an appearance on yesterday's Tonight Show.

Host Jay Leno asked Cruise if he had ever appeared in a musical and then pressed him to sing. The actor said, "I'll do a little Elvis", before bursting into a rendition of 'Blue Suede Shoes'.

The 46-year-old then jumped up and began to swing his hips like Presley, but was cut short by a commercial break.

Cruise hit the headlines in 2005 when he jumped on to a couch on The Oprah Winfrey show to profess his love for Katie Holmes.
