Weller leaves partner for backing singer

Paul Weller has split from his girlfriend of 13 years and moved in with a backing singer.

The former Jam singer, 50, has left Samantha Stock and moved in with 23-year-old Hannah Andrews.

A spokesperson for Weller last night confirmed his split from Stock, mother of two of his five children. "It's a very sad and unfortunate situation that their relationship has broken down," said the representative.

Weller has since been spotted outside Andrews's home, carrying Christmas gifts for his children.

"Paul worked very closely with Hannah. They discovered they have a lot in common musically and personally, despite the age gap. They have lived together for around a month," a friend told The Sun.
