Monument to Anna Nicole Smith unveiled

Anna Nicole Smith's former lover Larry Birkhead has unveiled a monument in honour of the actress and her son Daniel.

Smith died from an accidental overdose in February 2007, just five months after her son died from the same cause.

WENN reports that Smith's former lover Larry Birkhead commissioned a granite monument to be placed above their graves in the Bahamas, where the two were buried.

A paternity battle following Smith's death saw Birkhead named the father of her two-year-old daughter Dannielynn. Howard K. Stern was named as the baby's father on her birth certificate, while Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband Prince Frederick von Anhalt had also claimed parentage.
