Cruise plans 'special day' for wife's 30th

Tom Cruise has revealed that he has some "special things" in store for wife Katie Holmes's 30th birthday.

Holmes, who is currently starring in All My Sons on Broadway, turns 30 on Thursday and Cruise told Access Hollywood that it will be a "great day" for the actress.

"We're gonna celebrate. I'll be here in the morning with her," he said at the New York premiere of his upcoming WWII thriller Valkyrie.

"I've got some special things...that I have in store for her. It's gonna be a great day for her."

The 46-year-old actor and his wife have two-year-old daughter Suri.
