Hilary Duff ready to be sexy

Former Disney star Hilary Duff has revealed that she wants to ditch her girl-next-door image and embrace her sexuality.

The Lizzie McGuire actress flaunts her figure on the cover of January's Maxim in honour of being named one of the magazine's sexiest stars of 2009.

The singer, who has just released a sexy new video for upcoming single 'Reach Out', claimed that she is having fun playing with her image.

"I was ready to do something different," she said. "The intent was not to be overtly sexual; I'm not naked. I do have little shorts on in it - but I also wear a giant tutu. It's good to show different sides of yourself.

"Mothers come up to me and say, 'Don't ever change; you're such a good girl'. I am a good girl. But how can I say I won't ever change? That's impossible."
