Paltrow's mum slams split rumours

Gwyneth Paltrow's mother has slammed rumours that her daughter's marriage to Chris Martin is over, insisting that the couple are fine.

Meet The Parents actress Blythe Danner revealed that the pair are as strong as ever but deliberately chose to keep a low profile.

"They don't take pictures together if they can avoid it," she told Fox News. "It's a strategy. They don't want the pandemonium."

Danner added that both Paltrow and Martin, who have two children, would be visiting the U.S. over the holiday period.

"They're staying in England for the New Year," she said. "Then coming here."
