Scouting singer 'tries to kiss Alesha'

Scouting For Girls singer Roy Stride has reportedly tried to "smooch" with Alesha Dixon.

According to the Daily Star, the frontman has a crush on Dixon and decided to make a move on the popstar while working with her on music show Nokia Green Room.

"Roy noticed they were under some mistletoe so he took advantage of the moment to point it out in the hope of a Christmas smooch," said a source.

"Sadly for him Alesha darted away and steered clear of the stuff for the rest of the night."

Stride and Dixon performed a duet of Mel and Kim's 'Respectable' on the festive edition of the Channel 4 programme.
