Kirk Douglas is 'oldest celebrity blogger'

The Spartacus star, who is father to Michael Douglas, boasts over 4,000 friends on his MySpace website.
He began blogging in March last year to promote his memoir Lets Face It but has since posted his opinions on a range of subjects, most notably politics.
The actor had originally hoped to respond to every message he received, but the popularity of his blog has meant he had to abandon this plan.
"I want you to know that I appreciate each comment that I receive - positive or negative," he wrote. "And I enjoy the opportunity to talk to so many people much younger than I am."
His page also reveals that his greatest ambition in life is to meet Angelina Jolie, "provided my wife lets me".
