Johnny Depp ready to marry?

Johnny Depp is reportedly ready to marry longtime girlfriend Vanessa Paradis, after being spotted shopping for an engagement ring.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean star had a Californian jewellery store shut down so that he could shop for a ring in private, reports OK!.

"This was Johnny's third or fourth visit to the store," an insider revealed. "He looked at an assortment of classic solitaire diamond rings in platinum settings - a really beautiful selection of elegant and understated rings."

Earlier this year the 45-year-old actor, who has been dating Paradis for ten years, denied claims that the couple had wed in Georgia.

Similarly, Paradis refuted rumours of an engagement in October, telling Elle that she already felt "more married than anybody can be - we have two kids".

Depp has previously been engaged to actresses Winona Ryder, Sherilyn Fenn and Jennifer Grey.
