The 'Grace' singer will join the political panel in the new year, according to the show's producers Mentorn Media.
Young was invited to appear on the show by editor Gill Penlington after he told Radio 5 Live's Simon Mayo that he was a fan of the current affairs programme.
"As an avid viewer of Question Time, being in the hot seat is something I've always wanted to do," he said. "As the day gets closer rest assured I'll be swotting up on the hot topics."
Penlington said she was excited about Young, who has a degree in politics from Exeter University, appearing on the show.
"We are absolutely thrilled to have Will as a panelist. He knows his stuff politically and it will be fascinating to hear him taking on the politicians about the big issues of the day."
Young's appearance will air on February 5 from Dunstable.
